I started my schooling at St. Anne's Convent Kindergarden, Labuan and then moved on to St. Anthony's School for
boys in primary one. The St. Anthony's and St. Anne's Schools are next to each other. I left St. Anthony's school after
I finished my Secondary (Form) Three education and enrolled at St. Paul's School in Beaufort, Sabah, Malaysia.
I learnt a lot at St. Paul's School because the pricipal and head master were very dedicated teachers. They
interact with students during class and discussed topics at hand in a manner just like adults exchanging ideas of current
affairs.
The other thing I liked St. Paul's School was that it had a boarding school where various students from so many different
races and religions mixed freely.

Boarding House Life
In hostel life, I learnt to work in teams. We were grouped in fours or fives to do chores, such as cleaning toilets, cut
fire woods, sweeping the classrooms, buying cakes for breakfast, buying meat and vegetables for meals and others.

The St. Paul's School experience was very memorable to me.
Due to termites, I no longer have the St. Paul's School's annual magazine, The Leaven, volume one and two.
Staying at the boarding school had many advantages like using the library during free time and other urgent help
as the pricipal and two foreign volunteer teachers also stayed with us and ate meals together in the same eating hall.
